How to get to Gmunden:

 

By Car:

From Linz, Vienna or Salzburg: Motorway A1, take exit Regau, than the B145 direction Gmunden, Ebensee and Bad Ischl to exit at Gmunden.
From Passau: Motorway A8 direction Linz, at Knoten Wels follow direction Graz/Salzburg to Knoten Voralpenkreuz. Here take the motorway A1 direction Salzburg and exit at Regau. Than follow the B145 direction Gmunden, Ebensee and Bad Ischl to exit at Gmunden.
From Graz: Motorway A9 direction Linz to Knoten Voralpenkreuz. Here take the motorway A1 direction Salzburg and exit at Regau. Than follow the B145 direction Gmunden, Ebensee and Bad Ischl to exit at Gmunden.

By Train: www.oebb.at

From Linz, Vienna or Salzburg: Westbahn line (no.: 100) to Attnang-Puchheim, connecting trains (Salzkammergut line no. 170) direction Bad Ischl/Stainach-Irding to Gmunden.
From Graz: Railway line direction Salzburg via Selzthal. Change at Stainach-Irding to Salzkammergut Line (no. 170) direction Attnang-Puchheim. Get out at Gmunden station.

By Airplane: Connections to Linz (Blue Danube Airport), Salzburg (Amadeus Mozart Airport) or Vienna (Vienna International Airport). Take the Shuttle connections to central station in Linz and Salzburg or to "Westbahnhof" station in Vienna. Then see arrival "by train".
