Rules

Playing system: the tournament will be played in 11 rounds according to the Swiss System.

Time control: 100 minutes for 40 moves + 40 minutes to finish; add. 30 seconds for each move from the start.

Seniors: men born before 01.01.1947, women born before 01.01.1957.

Registration: the entry-fee for all players is EUR 120,-- (incl. FIDE quota) + EUR 80,-- deposit for accommodation. Please transfer EUR 200,-- together with your arrival and departure dates by August, 15th.

Special conditions: free accommodation for the champions 2006 and for one female and one male player chosen by the President of each FIDE zone.
